Our Offices
- Milford Main Campus
The main campus of Boys & Girls Village is located in north Milford at 528 Wheelers Farms Rd., Milford, CT, 06461.
The Wheelers Farms Road location is the site of the original farm where the then-named “Boys Village” was founded in 1942. The 11-acre campus is conveniently located just off the Merritt and Wilbur Cross parkways (Rt. 15) and accessible to I-95 in minutes via the Milford Connector.
Administrative offices located on the Milford campus include the offices of the CEO, Medical Director, HR department, Support Services, Development, Information Services, Finance and Training.
Programs located on the Milford campus include: the 16-bed Kids I.N.N. (Intensive Needs Network) residential home for children with mental health issues, the 16-bed Safe Haven residential home for at-risk children removed from their homes by the state for the first time, the Charles F. Hayden School at Boys & Girls Village, and our Extended Day Treatment program serving greater New Haven.
Buildings on the Milford site include the administrative building, which houses the non-profit agency's management offices, finance office, development department, school classrooms, teaching staff offices and conference room.
Behind the administrative building is found the Dan & Yolanda Adley Student Center, completed in 1989, which houses additional classrooms and the impressive, all-purpose gymnasium.
To the rear of the campus site is the original "Cottage" building, now known as the "Annex," which has been renovated several times since it was opened in 1958 and today serves as campus kitchen, training center, MIS office, staff offices and the home of the New Haven region after-school program.
Behind the Annex to the rear of the Milford property are located our two newest facilities, opened in 2004 – the twin 10,500-square-feet homes of both the Kids I.N.N. and Safe Haven programs for children at risk. Constructed for $4.2 million raised in during a capital campaign conducted between 2001 and 2005, the homes were completed on-time and on-budget in July 2004.

- Bridgeport Campus
The Bridgeport office of Boys & Girls Village is located in the Black Rock section of the city. Programs out of Bridgeport serve the greater Bridgeport, Norwalk and Stamford regions of Fairfield County.
The agency has operated out of the Bennett Street office since 2003, relocating from our previous office site on Fairfield Avenue located on the Bridgeport and Fairfield town line.
Among the programs offered out of the Bridgeport office are Intensive In-Home Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS), Therapeutic Foster Care and Permanency (TFC & PPSP), Extended Day Treatment program (EXD), Intensive Family Preservation (IFP), Therapeutic Community Services (TCS) and Outpatient Clinical Services.
In September 2007, Boys & Girls Village purchased our Bennett Street office site, making it the first acquisition of property outside of the Milford campus in our agency’s history.
This historic purchase represents the agency’s commitment to Bridgeport and the greater Bridgeport and Fairfield County regions. Our board and management staff strongly believes that greater Bridgeport and Fairfield County are areas of potential growth for our programs and services.
In order to address the present and future program needs, the agency is embarking on an ambitious Bridgeport Site Capital Campaign. The total building size in Bridgeport is 13,000-square-feet, with 9,000-square-feet of finished space, and 4,000-square-feet of unfinished space, not including the basement storage area.
The agency is currently embarking on an ambitious capital campaign to raise $1 million to accomplish two major goals: 1. to turn the 4,000-square-feet of unfinished space into functional new program space, and, 2. to renovate the entire 9,000-square-feet of existing finished space to make it more functional to our program needs.

- Waterbury Campus
The Waterbury office of Boys & Girls Village allows the agency to serve the greater Waterbury, greater Danbury and other Litchfield County and northern New Haven County towns.
Among the programs offered out of the Waterbury office are Therapeutic Foster Care and Permanency (TFC & PPSP), Foster & Adoptive Services Team (FAST), Intensive Safety Planning (ISP) and Outpatient Clinical Services.
The agency has been located at the Meriden Road site in Waterbury since 2000, and recently the agency secured an option to extend its lease for another several years after making a number of interior improvements to the facility.
