Designating Your Gift
You may designate your gift to any program at the agency or to as many areas as you choose. If so inclined, you may also leave all or a portion of your gift "unrestricted" to provide the greatest flexibility to meet our most pressing and immediate needs as they arise. Many donors do both with multiple gifts.
New Capital Campaign
In 2008, we have launched our second major capital campaign in seven years, a $1 million effort to support renovations at our recently purchased Bridgeport office site on Bennett Street in the Black Rock section of the city. We are currently in the "quiet phase" of this campaign, with the "public phase" to follow. More details to come.
Successful $4.2 million Capital Campaign
In the Fall of 2002, Boys & Girls Village launched its first capital campaign in more than 12 years to build two new homes on the Milford, CT campus to house the Kids I.N.N. and Safe Haven residential shelter programs. This major initiative raised more than $4 million and was completed in May 2005.
