Foster / Adoptive Care at Boys & Girls Village
Boys & Girls Village is looking for GOOD HOMES for at-risk children of all ages.
Boys & Girls Village provides foster care and adoption services to help prevent institutional or multiple foster care placement of children. Licensed by the state Department of Children and Families (DCF), Boys & Girls Village carefully matches children with qualified and trained foster and adoptive families who provide loving and supportive homes.
All foster and adoptive children must be referred by the DCF. Typically, the program serves children ranging in age from 3- to 17-years-old.
The first step is to call us about the services. Second, all families interested in providing foster and pre-adoptive care are required to attend and participate in a 12-week training, including a home assessment. Once you have completed all of the training and home study requirements, the family and child matching process will begin.
