Intensive In-Home Services (IICAPS)
Intensive In Home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services (IICAPS) is a program for children and adolescents with serious emotional disorders and their families. Boys & Girls Village IICAPS program services the towns of Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Monroe and Easton. The IICAPS program eligible population includes:
- Children who can be discharged from psychiatric hospitals or residential treatment facilities with additional in-home support;
- Children in acute psychiatric crisis for whom hospitalization is being considered, and, 3. Intermediate level: children with community treaters who require more intensive intervention to assure stability.
