Roldan family saluted for caring

Mr. & Mrs. Victor Roldan were cited as the agency’s 2001 Foster Parents of the Year. According to Chief Administrative Officer Douglas DeCerbo, members of the Roldan family have been foster parents since 1995, caring for four children since that time.

"One of their greatest strengths is that they incorporate the child's family with their own," DeCerbo said.

Their daughter, Zulma, is also certified in foster care and all three family members have been instrumental in attracting more Latino families into the foster care network, DeCerbo said.
