Vice President of In-Home Services

Location: Bridgeport

POSITION SUMMARY: 

The V.P. will oversee the IICAPS manager and the director of evidence-based services. (S)he may oversee one of the below programs directly: ASBTEP, MST-PSB, MDFT and the MST-BSF programs.  This position is under the direction of the CEO. The VP will have substance abuse treatment experience, and knowledgeable regarding Medicaid regulations and productivity management.

  • Responsible for the implementation and oversight of all aspects of the IICAPS, ASBTEP, MST-PSB, MST-BSF and MDFT programs.
  • Ensures that program services are consistent with contract, payer, and licensing requirements.
  • Utilizes metrics/data to ensure services are quality driven, effective, and efficiently provided and meet program/agency initiatives.
  • Ensures that all program services have appropriate risk management processes as well as quality component indicators consistent with agency PQI plan and program goals.
  • Participates in review of at-risk events as part of the agency risk management group in conjunction with CEO and other members.
  • Provides guidance and expertise regarding substance misuse treatment.
  • Experience providing/overseeing in-home programs
  • Ensures that program services are delivered in a fiscally sound manner, including adherence to program budget, productivity expectations and utilization targets.
  • Works directly with CEO and CFO to develop annual agency budget.
  • Provides supervision for Program Directors and Managers for their leadership development, personnel management, growth, and quality of programs including use of analytic tools and identification of problems/trends and practical solutions.
  • Actively participates in senior management leadership team, Risk, PQI committee and others as assigned.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work, MFT, or higher with license (LCSW, LMFT, etc.) in mental health field.
  • Experience with Medicaid billing and productivity requirements
  • Experience working with CSSD and DCF programs

PURPOSE/FUNCTION OF THE PROGRAM: 

Boys & Girls Village delivers a wide range of behavioral health services which includes a variety of in-home programs. IICAPS is an in-home program for children and adolescents ages 5 to 18 with serious emotional disorder, ASBTEP is an in-home program for youth who are on probation due to sexual offenses. The program is contracted with Court Support Services Division (CSSD).  MST-PSB serves Fairfield and New Haven Counties and provides treatment for youth with problem sexual behavior.  MDFT serves youth at risk for or are struggling with substance abuse issues (includes a HYPE program) have substance abuse and difficulties with the legal system. MST-BSF works with adults with substance use and parenting difficulties, involved with DCF.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS FOR CLINICAL POSITIONS:

Candidate must hold one of the following credentials: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or licensed-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut
