The Intimate Partner Violence - Family Assessment Intervention Response (IPV-FAIR) Program provides comprehensive, trauma-informed serves to families impacted by intimate partner violence.
The program recognizes that intimate partner violence can affect the safety, emotional well-being, and healthy development of children, as well as the relationships and overall functioning of the family.
Our approach:
Through individualized assessment, clinical intervention, safety planning, and family support, IPV-FAIR works collaboratively with children and caregivers to address the impact of violence, strengthen protective factors, and promote lasting positive change. Services are tailored to each family's unique needs, strengths, and circumstances, with a focus on creating safer home environments and fostering healthy, nurturing relationships.
The program combines in-home and clinich-based services to increase accessibility and address family needs within their everyday environments. Interventions may include individual and family-focused clinical services, trauma-informed support for children, parenting education, relationship and communication skill-building, case management, and connections to community resources.
IPV-FAIR emphasizes accoutability for harmful behaviors, support for caregivers who have experienced abuse, and healing for children and families affected by violence. By addressing safety, strenghtening parent-child relationships, and building practical skills, the program helps families work toward a healthier and more stable future.
