transitional/vocational planning
Charles F. Hayden School incorporates transitional programming to include on and off campus vocational opportunities for career training for our youth ages 14 and up. The mission of this program is to combine a rigorous and hands on learning environment that ensures both student academic success and career technical education mastery while promoting intrinsic values for becoming contributing citizens and active members of society.
Charles F. Hayden School transitional programming aims to teach and prepare its students to gain the responsibility for lifelong learning beyond graduation. The transitional program partners with local and state employers to offer internships with each student's individualized vocational goals and interests in mind. Whether on a track toward college preparedness or career readiness, Charles F. Hayden students will receive individualized guidance and training reaching beyond the classroom walls.
Charles F. Hayden School offers meaningful opportunities for classroom training aligned with real-world application in various fields including culinary and restaurant services, automotive, farming, health and fitness as well as community service/social services.
